Peter Kalla: Buy

Peter Kalla is a Texas singer songwriter rasied on a farm in rural Western NY State. He has miles and miles of stories in his songs and many experiences to share about his life, laughter, sorrows and heartbreaks. He was influenced in his early years by the Beatles and Rolling Stones but slowly turned to singer songwriters in the early 70's namely Gram Parsons, Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris and Townes Van Zandt. Peter lived in Southern California in the early 70' s till he moved back to Nashville years later. After a few years there he took some time off and went to SUNY@ Buffalo NY near his home town to study English Lit for a couple of years. After college he started to venture off as a singer songwriter and finally moved to the Austin, Texas area in 2006. His music is filled with lots of his crazy experiences and adventures while living and traveling across 49 US states, Western Canada, Germany, and Italy giging for the USO tours. This album is a self titled release entitled Peter Kalla & the Acoustic Twang Band. He is an up and coming Texas singer/ songwriter. Peter can be heard live in a variety of venues which include coffee houses, listening rooms, and dance halls near Austin.
